DAY OF THANKS……

Thanksgiving with the family was great! We decided not to believe the hype and stayed closed on Black Friday. This proved to be great, not only for some much needed R&R but also gave us a killer Saturday. So many people coming in, it was great! Our fashion and design books finally arrived too, so we now have some killer books on decorating in small urban spaces and have some great fashion coffee table books (can you say Tom Ford?). Now we are in the process of figuring out our Xmas window, we can’t decide on traditional or crazy modern… we may eventually meet in the middle. Definitely, to be continued……

GREAT THINGS!!

So many great things keep happening. Aside from the love we are getting from the neighborhood we have been featured in one blog and have had 2 interviews, one with blogdowntown.com and the other with downtown news.com!! We are really happy that everyone seems to love what we are doing. The custom skulls are a huge hit, people are loving the rock-n-roll touches on some of the furniture and the accessories are just flying out of the store.

Hopefully before the holidays we will get our design and fashion books and we will also get a few more skulls in different colors (hot pink is on everyone’s mind). We have a lot of other amazing ideas for our ceramics line, and Paolo is really plugging away to make that a reality.

1st ARTWALK!!

Artwalk is tonight, we have a couple of amazing artists lined up for our first ever Artwalk!! Come check out pieces from Eric Montoya, Krunk and Becca!! Don’t forget next Thursday we are bringing you a Pop-Up Shop with our friends at Number A!!! See you there.

We just opened!

(Sub)Urban Home is FINALLY open!!! After months and months of research, design, and just plain hard work- we present to you our labor of love. Downtown really is for furniture lovers, with all the amazing new and old lofts throughout Downtown LA we are poised to make our design mark all over this beautiful city!! We mixed clean yet comfortable furniture with unique finishes and sprinkled in amazing and urban home accessories to create a tasteful environment that we are sure will inspire. Come check us out!! On top of the showroom designs we do custom too, so you really can have EXACTLY what you want. Isn’t downtown great??
